Keep grooming tools together

Shedding season is easier when the tools live in one small caddy. A brush, towel, wipes, and cleanup cloths should be close enough to use during an ordinary evening, not stored so neatly that grooming turns into an event.

Choose tools by coat and tolerance

Different coats need different brushes, and comfort matters. A tool that removes more hair is not useful if your pet avoids it. Start with one gentle daily brush and one more focused tool for heavier sessions. Keep sessions short, calm, and predictable.

Add cleanup to the same system

Include a small washable towel, a lint tool, and pet-safe wipes if they fit your routine. Store them together so cleanup happens immediately after brushing. This prevents loose hair from moving from the grooming spot to the sofa, bed, or car.

Avoid overbuilding the kit

A caddy should make grooming easier, not become a miniature salon. If a tool is not used for several weeks, remove it. The best setup is small enough to pull out without thinking.
